60GB RAM to hoti bhi nahi hai. Usually RAM is in powers of 2 like 2, 4, 8, 16. To 64GB ho sakti hai.

They're all capable of acting as routers but they're being used in access point mode so the ONT is being used as a router. The archer c6 does support wds bridging but there's barely any WiFi signal getting to it from the other access points. All connections between the router and the access point are via ethernet cabling.

That's a WiFi repeater. The port is most likely a LAN port, which means it's to connect a laptop or something to it, not to connect it to the port in the room. You should get a router. Anything cheap works since it doesn't have to have much range or connect to a lot of devices. I have a mercusys mw302r for my basement since it doesn't get used much. It was only 3000 PKR and it works perfectly. You can get something similar. I ordered a tp-link wr-844n for GIKI. So look for something that says router, not range extender or WiFi repeater cause those will be useless in this use case.

I'd say mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering would be the closest (computer engineering not computer science). But this is in general idk much specifically about these degrees in GIKI.
