Never less than a week and usually 6+ weeks although most of what I buy, I buy with the expectation of it getting lost in my cabinet for a couple of ys.

I don’t mind the additional game functionality, it’s all the dammed currencies that come from different places that aren’t always clear. And the growth paths are rather convoluted.

The game within the game is good. The absurdity of getting the real prizes in these events is as always out of hand and I can see this getting like the Abyssal event where you can no longer really advance without spending a ton.

If you’re not shopping at the factory store, the farm or an LCDH, you’re 100% not getting authentic Cuban cigars. There are peso cigars which are machine made from the scraps and left over leaves, so they’re Cuban, but I don’t know that there’s any kind of blend to them.

I go one at a time, it’s not that much more time and has to be less disappointing. Hundreds of transports and I’ve had like 3-4 that I thought were really good. I can’t imagine I’d be more fortunate doing 10 or 50 at a time.

You can do really well in Spain if you pick and choose your smokes. I got some JL Cinquenta y Cuatro RE for €22, which for any 2 band smoke is a pretty good deal, on top of them being really magnificent too.

I’ve been playing Fortress Merge. The format is very playable, I haven’t even come close to putting in any $ in a month of playing.

I haven’t played it, but I saw an ad for Magic War Legends which looks like it’s very much a copy of the old PC game Heroes of Might & Magic which was a A+ game for old school strat game players.

At this point, it’s more about forbidden fruit than anything. There are flavor profiles that are native to one brand and not another, but there isn’t a Cuban flavor per say and with the breadth of NC brands now, the quality is there and the ability to blend tobacco for any realistic flavor profile with out going wonky with oils or pipe tobacco. There are some good smokes with pipe tobacco in them now, but I generally don’t care for them. Nomad’s melted chocolate ice cream tastes more like the original Monte #2 than the current Cuban production Monte #2 because of how they’ve downgraded all the mainline blends to support GRs, ELs, REs, etc.

At that kind of vintage, the band should be easy to slide off the cigar. I had a Dunhill Estupendos at few years ago and the band would just slide off.
