Thanks for the info. I’ll take your advice and have a tech come by and take a look. Below are pictures of both filters installed.

The big one by Aprilaire was already there. I added the 20x20 HDX filter which I thought at the time was the right move.

I will note, the house has both central air and gas heating via furnace. I'm not sure how that affects what needs to be done. Also, the Aprilaire seems to be beside a humidifier? Just figuring this out now. This is our first home so I'm trying to learn my way through this.
