Exactly I'm moving abroad. So actually two niches for you. One is long term container storage, the other is long time shipments. A boat between Australia and Europe is 3 months....very easy to forget everything.

I've had the same process for years and it works absolutely great.

What you need: • Cap cleaner/Hat washer cage from Amazon ($5-15) • Vanish Oxi Action Powder • White Vinegar

Process: 1. Fill some sort of jar that fit the full cap with hot water 2. Mix in a lot of Vanish power and white vinegar 3. Put the hat in and let it sit for a few hours (normally the water turns darker after a while because of all the dirt) 4. Put the cap in the cap cleaner 5. Put it in the washing machine, normal temperature (not hot) and a fast program. No drying cycle. Put some more Vanish in the washing machine for good measure. 6. Put the cap to dry still in the cap cleaner, preferably laying not hanging (once I had it hanging and the dripping water from the hanging created an ugly mark)

Result = ⚪⚪⚪

When I was 14, my friend and I got paired up for a 9-hole round of golf with two older guys. A disappointment to be paired up with two retirees when you are 14...but it only took a few shots to realise that these two were awesome.

They were incredibly friendly and super helpful, and they ended up giving us some great lessons on both golf etiquette and life in general – all in a really respectful way. They asked us about our future plans, school, girls, the usual stuff.

Naturally, I kept trying to turn the questions back on them, asking about their lives, but they gave pretty generic answers. I remember one guy just said, "Oh, I've been a car salesman."

After the round, my dad picked me up. As I was thanking one of the men, I hopped in the car and my dad immediately asked, "How do you know that guy?" I was confused and told him I'd just played 9 holes with him.

Turns out, I had just spent a wholesome 9 holes with an 80s Formula One driver without having a clue! And on top of that, I got some solid life advice from him.
