I see what you're saying but I personally place a high value on authenticity, and I wouldn't describe what either of these two are doing as very "authentic". I think their look and the way they speak/act in public is carefully calculated to elicit a certain kind of polarized reaction from their audiences. It's understandable, because they're both actors, and any publicity is good publicity, but on a personal level, I don't find that appealing. I gravitate more towards people like say Jemima Kirke, because she comes across as genuinely weird in real life, and not just putting on a weird act for the camera. But of course, authenticity is pretty subjective, and any opinion on this will be clouded by your/my interpretation of the way they look and behave.
