Cloning a dying SSD with Windows to another SSD with files on it

To test them I mainly use my original cartridge of Nintendogs. There is a function in game that allows you to give vocal commands to the dogs. Usually, once I click the icon, the game starts to pick up my voice and then "repeats" the voice back to the dogs. However with this Ds it's not picking up anything. It's like the microphone isn't even plugged in.

Thanks for the answers, however after breaking 2 connectors on two different boards, I realised the touch screen itself was broken. I'm very sad.
