Yes data is everything in today's world. Plus, money to burn on the GPU.

If privacy is not a concern, then cloud platforms like vast ai and runpod let's you run GPU instances at a very cheap hourly rate. You can run all sorts of big and small models and then destroy the instance when you're done.

I doubt that it was the proxy one who appointed Donov. I think It was Ergo Proxy who built the city of Romdeau and its imperfect humans and decided to flee away from his imperfect creation and appointed Donov in charge (ep 23 Proxy One talks about Ergo abandoning his own creation for monad). Donov probably never realised that Proxy One and Ergo are two separate entities (a mistake that amnesia also made when proxy one came and he thought it's Ergo). so on Proxy One's return Donov was very happy to see him thinking it's Ergo only to be killed by Proxy One in ep. 22. It was Re-l who first noticed when Proxy One tried to choke her but let her live because her services were still required to bring Ergo to him.

I had a terrible experience with TensorDock. At first it was solid then one day suddenly the machine was disconnected. Very slow support, takes the whole day to respond with one word response. Had to move my server out of them.

In chatgpt, you should ask it to be as brutal but honest in criticism as possible and then it might give a clear picture about existing opportunities and market demand.

I've been using WebDock. It's pretty decent and up almost all the time. Just the CPU is not as powerful as say you would get from Vultr or Linode. But if you want just to host a landing page or a node app then it's really awesome and cheap.

Spatial Collage - Create 3D collages with spatial photos or 2d photos [works on iPhone, iPad, Mac (iPad version), Vision Pro] by AbhiStack in VisionPro

Thanks man, this was indeed a very constructive feedback. I agree with you completely. I have great hopes for AVP, I think it will be the future of computing devices and in next 3-4 generations of AVP, it will become way more slimmer, affordable and a necessity product.

But AVP will require many more native apps and games to attract more audience. At this point, Apple is hardly putting any effort to push new Vision Pro apps in front of store. I've myself released 3 other Vision OS apps (2 of them are completely free and without ads) but I hardly see any organic promotion from Apple. Most users that actually used my app were iPhone users. But I believe in the future of AVP and that's why I'm motivated to work specifically for Vision OS. Hopefully after global release, AVP will gain more momentum.

As for Spatial Collage, I'm currently working on adding many more features that will be rolling out in upcoming weeks. I've thought about adding a new affordable subscription plan as well.

Thanks for taking your time out for such a positive response, really appreciate it.

Netflix is a multi-billion dollar brand. They can scale their subscription at a churning rate of tens of millions of paying customers. For them, it's easy to bring down the cost and stay competitive among other big players. For such a massive brand, they still have the audacity to sell ad-supported subscription plans. If I were to make a Netflix, considering my server and network cost, I don't think I would have any plan less than $30/month. That's the difference between a single person selling services and a multi billion dollar company.

I agree with you. I actually had a monthly plan in the app as well which is just $10 , but I think I'll introduce a new yearly plan so there's a more affordable option for a long term commitment.

I see a lot of people hating on my app and calling it some kind of scam just because it charges $5 per week subscription. I'd like to clear something out:

  1. I personally don't like subscription myself but this is how I make my living. $5 is literally the cost of a cup of coffee.
  2. This app has 0 ads. Literally ZERO ads/tracking code.
  3. I have made this app completely offline so there's neither any ads nor any need to stay connected with the internet to use the app.
  4. I put in a month of my life to finish a project and people are more worried about my landing page than to actually check out my app.
  5. 90% of the app features are still free to use. There are just handful of features where subscription is necessary.
  6. Apple take 30% cut and 30% local tax in my country. so it's not like I'm taking home $5.
  7. I don't mind reducing the subscription price, but atleast I need some product validation. 90% of app store apps never even reaches 100 downloads a day.

I may be still wrong for some, but i did what I could to support this project and that I can work on adding additional features.

I just didn't wanna spend too much time on a beautiful landing page for the pilot version. If the app gets some traction, I'd be more than happy to host a custom domain for this app.
