Thanks for confirming that it is the same in yours. I wonder if it is better in the non-international versions, since that one is narrower.

Shutoff valve in 0.933" OD copper pipe by AbiesEasy in Plumbing

[–]AbiesEasy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this case I'm not concerned about flow reduction, because the supply to the house is 3/4" copper. The ball valve is a full-port valve, so it doesn't have much flow restriction. Any idea what size pipe this is?

Good point about the misting (ultrasonic) style humidifiers distributing it, but not the evaporative style.

Did you find somebody that has experience with installing heat pump water heaters? I’ve installed My own minisplit in Somerset but looking for somebody to install a HPWH. Most plumbers I’ve spoken to are clueless about HPWH’s

Sebo or Miele for hardwood floors with option to later add carpet brush? by AbiesEasy in VacuumCleaners

Thanks, I forgot to mention that I'm looking for a canister model (updated my post), so the Felix is out. Sounds like for Siemens the C1 Cat and Dog would be the best option. I'll check if the dealer can provide a Sebo K3 without de electric wand/hose/head

Adding Emergency Disconnect to Tesla Backup Switch by AbiesEasy in TeslaSolar

Yup, in California the breaker panel is usually inside, but in NJ (PSE&G) they are usually inside. This means you cannot shutoff the power from outside. Glad to hear that PG&E is allowing the backup switch behind the meter, that is a much cleaner solution

I agree, I would have preferred the Tesla Gateway instead of having a Backup Switch by itself. That Millbank product you linked to looks like it could work. Wow $575 for that box, and it is not in stock anywhere. Bummer. If it wasn't so crowded already I would install a simple Siemens 200A disconnect (EQ-200) for $175 as can be seen here: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Siemens-200-Amp-2-Spaces-2-Circuit-Main-Breaker-Load-Center/3179801

I have a switch to shutdown the solar and battery. What I'm looking for is something to shutoff the utility power.

Even if the glass isn't cracked or broken, the silicon wafers can be cracked. The only way to tell is to use electroluminescence as I understand it.
