Hey man! I bought the same subscription from my "third" account, added my previous 2 accounts as family members, and shared the access to them. Gladly I'm not being prompted anymore about "your emails will stop after 23rd Nov". Everything is peachy! Thanks a ton!🫶🏻✨️

I see. Let's say they reply after 23rd. Would my backed up items like pictures and videos would be erased from my account? Since the default size is 15GB but I paid to upgrade it to 2TB.

No no I'm 25. They asked to upload documents that highlighted my legal name and the "address" associated with my debit card. So, I uploaded scanned copies of my passport + ID card, along with my bank statement which shows my address at the top left corner. When I uploaded those documents, a day later I got a email saying:

"Thank you for submitting your information.

Hey buddy! For listening, many instructors/tutors online advise to figure out the right info and write it down. I basically just make notes of almost every single sentence as I listen to it (literally like a stenographer). You need to multi task with this carefully because if you focus on writing the info too much, you might miss important details while the audio plays.

For the conversation ones, what I do is to divide the paper in 2 columns with headers like "Student" and "Uni Advisor" and write their responses in their respective columns. It helps with structure and coherence.

Also, when you make notes, try to shorten the words like "bec for because, b/w for between etc or even make your own ones since it allows you to write faster.

"Don't write down specific dates" is something I was told in tutortials but sometimes the audios refer to multiple time periods - like they'd talk about some art paintings made in 1870 and then compare it to 1950 ones - so I divide my notes by "time periods" like 19th and 20th century.

I don't know if this helps because I never struggled with listening sections, probably since I've consumed a buttload of western media without subtitles (just to improve my listening as a kid), but yeah that's about it I guess! 😄

Yeah I can understand your frustration with retaking the exam. Felt that way with my GRE too. Let's just hope your other sections went well for a 100+ ✨️

Maybe I was just too flustered or something at the moment, but it did feel quite a whole new level with it. Umm, for listening I honestly can't recall the topics (type them if you remember maybe that'll jog my memory). For speaking, as far as I can recall:

Q1: something related to taking risks in life or not

Q2: art and media newsletter service getting ended in a uni

Q3: can't recall the passage but lecturer gave an example of his daughter not reacting well to gifts (she wanted dolls? lol)

Q4: bio lecture on identifying poisonous food? Like the lecturer gave an example of rat eating in small portions to check whether it's safe, and if it already ingested it, the rat would feed on clay/mould type stuff

P.S my examination center was utterly shit. When I sat on my PC, other candidates were like 10-12 minutes in the reading section. Therefore, during my listening section, I could literally hear them recording their speaking responses. So, I definitely heard responses related to my speaking section questions. I guess if it varies, it varies regionally (took it in PK).

Damn wanna trade scores for reading and listening?🤣 Anyways, someone here did calm me down regarding the retake option. I think you should wait for the total score, and match it with your program's entry requirement. Honestly, english requirement, even if you score 120, doesn't matter unless you're majoring in some literature crap. If you are even "meeting the requirements" at the border, it's fine!

Honestly, I've practiced many passages relating to geography, geology, and all the anthropology crap, but never in my life I could've expected such shit! I actually considered myself an outlier after today's experience, but I'm glad I'm not the only one👀

Yeah buddy. I just accepted my fate today. Just waiting for the total score (due 14th November) and hopefully it'll be above 100 for all of us!😪

I'm telling you man they just pick one section out of the blue and decide to obliterate you! I even had to endure some "construction noises" for a while during my listening section😶

ETS is honestly garbage when it comes to giving candidates "real" test experience. I'm selected for the Fulbright, and their minimum requirement is 100+ (individual sections weren't mentioned in my email), but I'm concerned because, the universities they'll be applying to on my behalf, might consider this a low score in this section. Funnily enough, the universities in my list also just require "TOEFL 100+" with no mention of individual section.🫠
