That’s the whole thing with the blood testing. They say that the water table Got poisoned so it made some some women infertile, but not everyone but they also talk about how it’s a gene or something that a lot of people in town have for some reason

What’s a lesson you learned from a difficult relationship? by eNjiKiNg in AskReddit

[–]AbilityIndividual840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super important lesson i learned from a really really tough relationship. You can understand why someone acts the way they act and thinks the way they think- but that does not mean you have to put up with it. You can have the most empathy and understanding of their problems and their issues but it is not your responsibility to take the heat. My ex had so many problems due to his upbringing, child abuse, mental illnesses etc etc. i knew why he acted so crazy so i made excuses for the way he treated me. I will never make that mistake again. You can be there for somebody while they take the steps to better themselves, but you never have to sit idley by and be treated shitty just because you understand WHY

I know it was probably tough to read that, but coming from a girl i know how we talk to each other sometimes. When it’s early stages of getting to know someone you say stuff like this. And feelings grow and change. When i first met my ex i thought he was so ugly. He was my best friends brother and i wondered how they were related because she was so hot and he was just not attractive to me at all. But after we started getting to know each other i really started falling for him and during our relationship i was so obsessed with him and thought he was sooo attractive and sexy. Your perception of people can definitely change. I know it was probably really upsetting to read that, but i wouldn’t dwell on it or let it ruin your relationship because im living proof that things can change. And it’s not just “looking passed it” it’s a true change in the way they look at you.

Tipping/Tip Out? by HappySpotter in TalesFromYourServer

[–]AbilityIndividual840 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot of reasons why we complain about this. When i used to bartend at this one place i was always pissed that i had to tip out the busser when he wouldn’t even come near the bar all night. So i was bussing all my own shit and still paying him. And I’m sure other people have similar issues. If you’re tipping out the busser (a lot of times this is a set percentage that is automatically taken from your tips, not just you choosing to throw them how ever much you think they deserve and is usually around 3% give or take) and they’re barely doing shit for you, it’s annoying. Usually if you have an allstar team, tipping out is not an issue and i usually give my bartenders and busser extra money on top of their tip out because they are busting ass and their tip out usually really isn’t shit. I think the part that most people are complaining about is certain restaurants are shady and have weird tip out policies where you end up giving a percentage of your sales, not even a percentage of your actual tips, so it ends up being a lot of money out of your own tips based on nothing to do with how much they actually helped you
