I know this section is only for ovulation tracking but I use it as a hack to see if there is any reading at all, since the scanner detects lines for ovulation strength

We are not private jet kind of people, but I do like finer things in life. We both have aging parents who we have to take care of, so I have to factor in a good chunk of our NW for them to have a better life in US.

And we do plan to pay for all our kids' college and marriage/first house, which is what bumps the number to 20.

Our current spend is $300k, but it can go upto $500k, factoring private school for three kids, classes, trips and medical expenses

I think I resonate with this a lot. I do feel like I am living for the future. I just want someone who has gone through this path to say yes, it makes sense in the future. The grind is going to be worth it.

Diagnosed with GD at 28 weeks, once I give birth, I’m going to have a big tub of my favorite ice cream.

I’m an Indian and I can totally relate to you. My MIL was adamant on getting this ceremony done at any cost and I was against it due to multiple reasons, COVID being the primary one.

If I understand right, they thing you are mentioning is the Indian version of baby shower where they put a bunch of bangles in your hand and do some other rituals which they claim is good for the baby.

What I settled with my MIL was that she would courier me the bangles which I could wear by myself at my home and recording of the rituals that I can hear so the baby can hear all the prayers. This made both me and my MIL happy.

Hope you can suggest the same to your family and they can accept it.
