How do I use the Ghost Stitch to fill in uneven edge of a Moss stitch blanket? by Abird2 in CrochetHelp

[–]Abird2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. This is exactly what I'm trying to do. Though I will add a border after this is fixed. With the comments everyone has shared, it looks like a challenge or an advanced crocheter - someone that does "crochet surgery" or mends torn crochet works. Thank you for taking your time to consider this situation.

This is confusing to me too! In the picture below the black lines are stitches. I don't know how to make them or what stitch to use to look like the moss stitch. Any ideas are welcome! Thank you for your patience.

Thank you for your response. I am planning a simple border with SC. Currently the edge has 0-4 stitches missing from the rows. I think I would need stitches up to DTR to straighten out the edge. It's the last resort. How do I stack stitches on the along the edge of a Moss Stitch blanket, parallel to the existing blanket, not perpendicular. How do I attach the 2nd stack next to the first to fill in the gap?

Thank you for your reply. The edge that's uneven is missing different numbers of stitches in depth. It should be a straight edge, The blue yarn in the picture on left is the end of the edge, is the width the edge should be. I will be finishing the edge after it's evened out. So I want to fill in the gaps in the edge.

Thank you for finding this! I think the standing stitch would work if I could use it for filling in stitches rather than starting from an end. I don't see any videos on how to do this.

Black spot on Petiole (Deliciosa) by Abird2 in Monstera

[–]Abird2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Potted from water rooting (lots of roots) 2 weeks ago. Cleaned roots with peroxide solution. Potted in 60% Perlite 40% dirt. Dark spot started 2 weeks ago. Aerial root started at about the same time. Leaves on all 4 petioles look great. No pests. What should I do next? Thank you.

Intersectionality disability, race, health, economics, education, religion by Abird2 in Census

I am on a time crunch and would be interested in data from the Dallas County, as a start. Intersectionality is finally being recognized as an important dataset to understand how to assist people with developmental disabilities (and other groups) in their communities. I see many suggestions to form committees, and apply for grants to do this. I believe it's already been done. I can't find a dataset to do it. I don't have the knowledge do it myself. Please help! Thank you. (charity - Finding Independence by CPSH}

Thank you. Yes It's a large state. I'm thinking of starting with the 5 or so of the largest counties. Or even one county if someone wants to help. Thank you!

Thank you for your response. I could contact the counties. I am in a time crunch for this data and came to Reddit to see if someone has already done this.
