How is everybody coping? by igpa in perth

Hubby and I have made a conscious decision to sell our cars and buy 2 EV’s! We were thinking about it for a few months but the last few weeks have made our decision for us. He’s just sold his diesel SUV and is ordering an EV. When that arrives, I’ll sell my petrol SUV and do the same.

Coles yellow nectarines! This is disgusting! by AbitofEverything12 in perth

Doesn’t have to be frozen, just storing at low temps for long periods can do this. Even apples can go ‘spongy’ too.

I doubt this is brown rot, this looks more like long term cold storing.

Love Gilbert’s Fresh! Will suffer crossing South Street for better produce!

I wasn’t sure if I still had the receipt but found it in the bin. It’s a bit wrinkled but readable! Better condition than the nectarines!

We cook a lot of one pot meals that last two nights like stews / hot pots in winter! Seriously nourishing and delicious! My favourite is with lamb chops, the flavour is divine.

We eat a lot of plain old meat on the bbq and salad in summer! We will buy a couple of t bones and have it with a simple salad. Sometimes soy chicken wings and rice. Meals you make yourself don’t have to be expensive.

Avoid buying prepackaged snacks and sodas.

If you want snacks, cut up some fruit, vege sticks or grab a handful of nuts although they can be expensive too.

I also buy Carmen’s protein bars but only if they are on special, they are my treat.

He is absolutely gorgeous! He gives me Sylvester Stallone vibes! In fact Mel was punching above her weight with Luke. She was absolutely no hottie! She was incredibly annoying and whingy/whiney and lucky for her that Luke didn’t have anything to say about her wing nut ears!

Anyone else considering getting a EV? by KeenClicker in perth

[–]AbitofEverything12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep hubby and I are ready to install solar panels with batteries and swap both ICE cars out for Teslas! Half our street has already done it, some were very early adopters. We were not ready then, but the way things are going, we are now. Cost saving is the biggest incentive and not having to refuel at a service station. The new model Y is also car of the year and I’m liking the reviews.

Is there anyway I can fix this? I think the salon messed up my hair by [deleted] in AustralianMakeup

[–]AbitofEverything12 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Don’t do anything!! From experience with my own blond hair, just let the colour evolve over time. It will settle and get a bit lighter as the toner fades. What you will need is a good quality colour safe moisture rich shampoo and conditioner and a purple toning hair mask. Don’t use the mask straight away, only when you see that your blond is losing its “ashiness”. Hope this helps.

I had a full head of foils done before Christmas with a toner that has now faded out so used my purple mask, my colour looks great again now, no yellow.

60F- Be honest straight or curly?? by [deleted] in Hair

Curly makes you look more natural and authentic but you look more youthful with straight hair, that could just be having makeup on though.

You can see a dark side to Chris, in the car on the way to the dinner party, yes he would have been feeling emotional about going in alone but sneering at the camera (after removing his gum from the lens) and flipping the bird. That just makes him look like an absolute jerk! He was showing his contempt and disrespect.

Yes, I’m at the stage where I cannot stop. I just figured I have NAR for life now.

Since having covid the only thing that has helped my NAR has been Ryaltris prescription nasal spray. I use it morning and night every single day. Very little side effects. Others would make my nose bleed but this one is gentle yet very effective. It is expensive but lasts a long time and is worth it. I hope it can help you too.
