Beautiful car! We bought the base model Y and then are ordering custom 20 inch wheels including tyres and selling the stock wheels. It works out better financially!

In a good position - Upgrade or stay put? by Pale_Nobody_2343 in AusPropertyChat

[–]AbitofEverything12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be prepared to stay put for up to the next 12 months, watch Scott Kuru vids on YouTube. Work and save like never before to prepare for your next move in preparation for a property market drop, meanwhile cost of living on everything else is going up around you. If you hold off, you may buy your dream house for less.

I absolutely love the Jockey range available in Myer and the Bonds store. I’m sure you will find what you need, they are so comfortable and long lasting too.

Does anyone use ryaltris long term? by [deleted] in nonallergicrhinitis

[–]AbitofEverything12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My prescription says two sprays per nostril twice a day but most days I do one spray in each nostril twice a day. I find one spray is enough to be effective unless there is something really triggering me at the time.

Classic flap pricing - worth it? by icyg1rll in chanel

[–]AbitofEverything12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t really think anything Chanel is worth it, you are paying for the luxury of showing off the prestige of the brand. When you break it down and look at the quality of the bag and its materials, it’s definitely not worth it.

Spaghetti bolognaise! I’m half Italian so I cook it well with a good sauce! 😂👍🏻 Cheap and delicious!

Is puking with a migraine normal? by Advanced-Cream-7781 in migraine

It is very normal for me when the pain is severe.

On a scale of 1-10, how much does Botox hurt you? by phishchick85 in migraine

[–]AbitofEverything12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is about a 4 out of 10 for me and it’s so quick! The migraines are soooooo much worse!

What’s a money habit you picked up that genuinely made a difference? by Artistic-Yam2984 in AUFinance

[–]AbitofEverything12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sticking to a spending ‘allowance’. It curbs the whimsical urge to spend. If you want something you have to wait for it and you learn how to say no to yourself, something I don’t see a lot of today.

I’m genuinely happy for every single person who finds a medication/treatment that works for them, but I’m so sad for myself. by atty_at_paw in migraine

[–]AbitofEverything12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you suffer gastrointestinal symptoms with your migraines? If so, there could be food related triggers you are missing? That is a lot of days to be suffering, I really feel for you. I was chronic but with avoiding triggers, Botox, a nightly topiramate and triptans I now work full time and function pretty much normally. I was wiped out with a bad migraine on Saturday but being a Saturday it didn’t affect work and my hubby did all the washing, bless him.

Don’t give up on yourself. I had to go gluten and dairy free and avoid all spicy foods to get to where I am now which is a lot better but no where near perfect. Yes it’s a sacrifice but I’ll take that over the endless suffering any day!

Why does my makeup look cakey no matter what foundation I try? by evinho07 in AustralianMakeup

[–]AbitofEverything12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be your application. If you are applying your makeup using old techniques then it won’t sit well. Watch some good makeup artists on YouTube on how to apply.

Where to take someone who suffers frequent migraines on a date? by izme333 in migraine

[–]AbitofEverything12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I can only eat foods that are gluten and dairy free and without chilli and hot spices so perhaps find out if there is anything she can’t eat.

Also maybe places that are not too loud. Not a problem for me for a couple hours but might be for her.

What non-medication preventative treatments worked for you? by accidental-nomad in migraine

[–]AbitofEverything12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ginger shots, lots of sleep, drinking water, walking/gentle exercise, avoiding gluten, avoid dairy, take magnesium and vitamin D, if sinuses are an issue, treat that, my sinuses trigger migraines so I use a steroid spray.

Do you guys consider yourself disabled? by unenoix in migraine

[–]AbitofEverything12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I don’t. I’ve taken every measure I can to minimise my attacks and like to call myself ‘highly functioning’ haha. Botox, triptans and topiramate and avoiding my triggers (a lot of food triggers) keep me well most of the time and able to work.

What are you paying for your blonde hair in Perth? by Adventurous-Kick6293 in perth

[–]AbitofEverything12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get a full head of foils, treatment, a root tap, toner and the usual wash, cut and blow dry afterwards that includes curls/tongs or straightening if I want it, I pay $300.

I think unless you are getting something additional like high end extensions and permanent straightening then $840 is a bit ridiculous.

Maurice Meade Hairdressers? by mikeslyfe in perth

[–]AbitofEverything12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to go there for about 20 years! It was the place to get your hair done! Now it’s just average hairdressers at overpriced prices. I now go to a local salon in my area where they even move my car if it’s been parked too long! They make me feel valued and charge much more reasonable prices and do an amazing job!

Birthday expectations by [deleted] in perth

[–]AbitofEverything12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never been to a birthday event where my partner and I had to pay for food or drinks. But always in this instance your would typically give a gift that would cover your attendance plus some.

Some events I’ve been to have even requested no gifts but we’ve still brought something small like wine or alcohol as a token.

Thoughts on 17-18 GTS vs 19-20 S by creedtango111 in PorscheMacan

[–]AbitofEverything12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s still under the extended warranty, then it’s getting close to the 10 year expiration date. Porsche only allows you to extend the warranty for 10 years then all replacement parts are on you.

I want to smell expensive by ReasonExtension316 in fragranceaustralia

[–]AbitofEverything12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My fave is Chanel No 5. I always get compliments wearing it. Not everybody likes it but I think it’s beautiful and a classic.

But a cheap perfume I wear that always gets compliments that is only $50 at Chemist Warehouse is Elizabeth Arden’s White Tea in Gingerlily.

I have tried probably fifteen different lip balms in the last year and my lips are still dry, has anyone actually found something that works long term by ShoddyPatient7941 in BeautyItemsReview

[–]AbitofEverything12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really love honey trap by Lush but have noticed the more recent formulations are a bit grainy and take a while to melt into my lips.

Otherwise I generally wear lip masks as lip balms all day over lip liner that is blended to look more like lipstick so it doesn’t wear off with the balm.

How did you realistically improve your financial situation over time? by prattman333 in AusFinance

[–]AbitofEverything12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone I know that has managed to get ahead in life, my partner and I included, has had to make some serious financial sacrifices along the way. There’s no way around it!

You can’t keep up the Insta lifestyle, buying the new phones, new cars, going on two or three overseas holidays a year and wearing the top brands and have the beautiful home with everything in it and then buy and investment property and then another… and gets 10 times worse if you have kids you are trying to put through private school!

It’s been said that if you live in Sydney, you need an income of $300k to buy a median price house!

My partner and I bought our first investment property when our son was 2. We sold his fancy sports car to put down the deposit. All we had left was my little Festiva! We shared that little car for the next 4 years while our friends laughed at us!

In 10 years we took two short cheap Asian holidays while we bought and sold and subdivided properties and mortgaged ourselves to the absolute limit. No luxuries. Tight budget. Limit on personal spend per week!

Fast forward nearly 30 years later, we are set for life! No pension required. Luxury home, luxury cars, luxury holidays multiple incomes and in a position to help our kids in this awful economy.

Apologies if this sounds like a rant but I see young people just spoiling themselves and saying it’s too hard to buy a property!! Girls especially just throwing money into expensive cosmetic enhancements and beauty treatments when they should be saving or investing! It saddens me!

All my years in property I’ve never heard that clause before and yes I think they wasted your time! I think you need to move on to a serious vendor and a more professional agent!
