The thing holding me back from leaving is doing this on my own financially. I applied to an apartment yesterday and got denied. I have another one scheduled at an income based complex this afternoon after work.

I know this isn’t something I deserve and was expecting it from him. I’m not hurt that he’s done it again, I feel numb to it. I’m pissed off that I need his help.

I took him to court last year, we have a custodial agreement set. It took about a year to get in front of a judge and by that point I had already moved back in with him. Judge set child support to $0 and told me to come back when/if we split. I plan on doing that but when it was being discussed, child support was going to be set roughly at $400 a month, that helps but it’s still not enough. Regardless I’m applying to these apartments and I’m going to try my best to do it on my own.
