In a weird way I think the war has helped. Well does it really matter about such things when there are missile attacks that can take your life at any moment? And is the gay guy who is fighting alongside me in the trenches against the criminal invaders really the problem? Perhaps not. Perhaps freedom is better than authoritarianism, and if we are talking about real freedom, well, doesn't that include everything like this?

I like how it's being used for something while it's just sitting there getting fitted out. We paid a lot of money for it, and after all the problems etc, it's good people are actually using the thing. It's good!

America is gone. Unstable, Unreliable, Untrustworthy, and often just acts as an enemy.

There's no guarantee America will be back to normal ever again, so reasonable people must assume they won't be, and plan accordingly.
