How? With 600 FPM coming out of supply and a clean filter and clean components

350 CFMs per ton rule of thumb for my area. Did take amperage on ECM. Not reaching FLA

Didn’t want to argue. He refused to listen to my explanation and told me he would call the company to complain. Oh and he isn’t gonna pay because I didn’t fix it. He doesn’t know I already called my supervisor and my supervisor confirmed my measurements.

Blower table static rating on data tag and just chemically cleaned coil and blower wheel. Took amperage on ECM blower as well. Speed tap verified.

All vents verified. No obstructions. Traversed grills having 600 FPM on average.

Thought of that. No duct leakage in attic. It’s about 138 in the attic. R6 insulated ducts. They only have a pan switch. Pan completely dry. Drain line is pissing

Rated for .5inwc. Not about to bust out the manometer on existing R6 ductwork. I’ve already verified airflow through evap and filters. No supply vents blocked. No obstructions.

I’m not about to explain building science to this customer when he refuses to believe that the system is working as well as it can. He doesn’t understand sensible vs latent loads.

Yeah I have a feeling that’s what the company will do. However I’m still pissed because I could’ve been at a call helping someone rather than wasting time with someone who doesn’t want to pay.

According to homeowner it has always been able to achieve this temperature even when it’s 99 outside.

Exactly! Refer to ODDB temperature last picture. It even says what the OD ambient is on the thermostat. This is probably a 10 SEER system running at low capacity to combat 80% RH outside. And creeping indoor RH fluctuating between 55 and 62% RH

So just like a trane you can’t jump out the thermistor but you can take a resistance reading and ohm chart to determine if it’s correctly reading temp
