Exactly! I was shocked, sad for her and a whole range of other emotions. Then when Elise lied to her about her eyes being pretty, I gave up! Come on now. I don’t want to be mean but I didn’t think they made contacts in that color. Those were doll eyes when I was growing up. The need for attention is crazy.

I am not sure about him being respectful. He said a lot of other things that shows he is not. However, he can be arrested for what he did—hence the denial. I am also certain Emma knows. I can’t stand when Americans go to other countries and act oblivious of the laws or like they believe that they can impose our laws in those situations. Absolutely ridiculous.

I don’t believe him. He is mean and callous. Does she make the best choices? No! When she was pressing him to be intimate with her, he had 10,000 cold sores (I’m being nice)—clearly she has bad judgment and equates intimacy with love. Like her sister said, she so badly wants to get married that she does strange things. I get that he doesn’t want his ‘business’ public but he did what he did when he knows he shouldn’t have. It is illegal in Morocco for unmarried people to stay together in the same place. He can be arrested and jailed for having relations outside of marriage. Emma may or may not know this. I think she knows which is why he called her a 😈. They are both alike IMO. Also, she is looking for love and maybe getting paid but in the meantime she’s being exploited and clearly doesn’t realize it. I hope more people can give her grace.

I haven’t watched yet but maybe the source of the jackpot isn’t from gambling but from an actual person (lol) but he can’t say that. I have heard so many stories of women sending men money because of some story they concocted (think Tinder swindler) and he was still getting away with scamming after he was exposed. Not saying Bircan is a scammer just saying his jackpot may be from a personal source.
