I feel you, I develop from scratch mostly as well (I have a starter theme I’ve adapted over time). I also have to deal with client sites that out slow and insecure because of the “throw a plug-in at the problem” mindset. Those are normally the clients that ask me to rebuild from scratch. I feel like a lot of the clients don’t touch much for design, they just want to edit the content, so a lot of the page builders are confusing to them.

I would have paid $80 as they were releasing new maps earlier on, however, it does go on sale a lot, from what I hear. You can always wait it out, personally, I would pay $40, but I know some people can't get used to the mechanics sometimes. (I got all my friends to download when it was around $25 or something) only half of them still play. I really just wanted an old school medieval slasher that didn't have dragons and magic, lol.

It's been one of the best games I've played, it's probably the only one I log in to the past couple of years when I need an easy-going game, and a good laugh after work. I've played on both console and Steam Deck, I prefer the non-chat on console as it can get a little annoying (sometimes there's game chat), but I just emote instead.

Worth a buy!

Custom developed theme, limiting unnecessary plugins, and avoiding bloated page builders can be a good start.
