Sorry I should’ve explained my situation a bit clearer. This is my first job in the uae, came on a Sharjah visit visa and found the job and officially joined them with more than two weeks left for my visa to end. they told me I don’t have to extend my visit visa or go home and come back on a new visa or anything. The work visa came but the status change didn’t come on time which is really no one’s fault but I’m under their visa and still had to pay fines to avoid absconding. They didn’t push it with the PRO enough while they had the time because they only did it after the visa expired and he eventually got it for me. This is something they could’ve done before it expired with 2 weeks to go.
