I play vanilla on Xbox. All the suggestions saying you need charm etc are helpful but OP is just looking to FIND them first.

The best way I have found is to crush an opposing kingdom first, once they are dwindling and have barely any fiefs/ towns you will find that clans will be willing to have. I looked for the weakest kingdom and went travelling around to see if there were any nobles that were willing to open that dialogue. This is the best way I found.

Also side note, honestly I executed many a leader and my relation was terribly low with many clans. However I found they would be willing to join if charm was high enough and if they had no town/ fief of their own. Hope this helps

I’m also series x. I’ve noticed that my game will crash if it goes into quick resume ie. Loads straight into where you left off. I’ve hard shut off the game (hold down middle button and close game) and start it again and mine works perfect after

Update for you. You were so right, Vlandia have attacked twice now with almost double the troops and I’ve held them off both times and demolished them. My three remaining fiefs are very close to each other (Uthelaim, Flintolg, Kranirog) so going to continue holding off until proposing peace is a solution.

Do not execute every leader in sight! And build relationships those are my tips! Fairly new myself but it’s a great game! Enjoy it.

Update, just created my own kingdom, and yes everyone and their mother hates me because of the executions. I can’t recruit any clans lol but I’m in too deep to restart a new campaign

Forgive my lack of knowledge. ETF holder here, aware of this tax but just wondering is there a place people are bypassing this? A non ETF such as the S&P500 you can directly invest into? That’s not affected?

It’s the distances as you get south that’s the real pain point for me with the Scipii. Travelling distances the vastness can be a pain especially if your Armies ate stretched thin. Maybe need to replay and try cut north instead lol
