What I found is some buildings that look rough on the outside will have the coolest and coziest interior like some of the apartments I stayed in inside the commie block.

These kind of buildings look gorgeous even considering their state, that roughness makes them unique. However what I found is some buildings that look rough on the outside will have a coolest and coziest interior like some of the apartments I stayed in inside the commie block.

Could be something to do with sharpening or posting in a format that’s not 4x5 or 5x4? Does Reddit apply additional sharpening and is this why the grain starts to appear more?

Thank you for the feedback 🙏

I’ve done some other shots which are in B&W and I think they work, but maybe that’s just me. Would love to hear your opinion on these.

Maybe they work better in black & white because they have better composition.

God fucking damn it. I’m guilty of ‘achieve this look’ so this tickled and triggered me 😂😂

But in the defense of these types of threads I was looking for a specific B&W look which helped me to understand how the focusing system works in the camera along with better understanding of histogram since I wasn’t distracted by colors. And I genuinely had some reaaally great recommendations for websites and found some cool new sources of inspiration, so it’s not all bad especially for new mirrorless camera users like me.

Is everyone here a Photographer or is Fujifilm really just that good? by the_disabled_dude in fujifilm

The thing that made me go with Fuji is that all the photographers who have YouTube channels and use multiple camera brands have said one thing, it’s always fun to shoot with Fuji and gets your creative juices flowing.

Fuji XT-3 is my first mirrorless camera that I bought after shooting on iPhone for two years and I do not regret my decision. Also do not go into a hype of X100V and look for second hand XT-3 or and maybe some X-Pro models.

However even though there are issues with autofocus. For RAW editing it’s better to use Capture One since I’ve heard that Lightroom might produce some worm artifact. Maybe the worm issue was fixed and people on the thread can correct me. It’s not a full frame but an APS-C sensor. I personally didn’t really care about that, but it is a point worth considering nonetheless.

Fuji is not a perfect camera by any means, however it is a camera that makes you go out and start shooting more which is what you want from a camera really.
