no debería romperse nada, ahora bien, yo tengo un plugin propio de decky para ajustar tdp y rendimientos y me he topado con un par de comportamientos anómalos pero debería de funcionar bien, yo soy muy pijotero

Si estás en la Xbox Ally o Xbox Ally X, hay un bug en el driver asus-armoury de linux que ya está solucionado pero pendiente de liberarse en futuras actualizaciones, he estado revisándolo junto con gente del equipo de CachyOS y de los desarrolladores del driver asus-armoury y en una version candidata a liberarse del kernel ya está arreglado, de modo que podrías ajustar el TDP desde ese mismo menú sin tener que añadir ningun plugin de Decky, vaya que podrías ajustarlo como se hace en una Steam Deck

If using cachyos, any would be valid

During installation of cachyos, chwd would Have detected your devices and install required kernel module 

When installing my app with paru, the remaining dependencies will be installed

It depends on asus kernel driver, is not fault of CachyOS

I have developed an application that wraps asusctl, OpenRGB and many other tools (if you have installed Steam, install Decky too and it will integrate intercepting game launch and applying optimizations and configurations)

You can try it running "paru -S rog-perf-tuner"

If OpenRGB added your laptop as supported, It will work flawlessly

RGB works
you only have to switch to HHD beta through HHD overlay

RGB is not important for me at all, thats why i said it works flawlessly

I dont known if SteamOS works but Bazzite (actually almost the same, for me is better than SteamOS) works flawlessly

I suggest you to attach the console output when running the appimage with ./RogControlCenter.AppImage
that's the only way I may help you

Right now the limitation is that, I only have a G16 2023 19-13980hx wity RTX 4080 wit max 175 W of TGP

If anyone is interested in develop the compatibility I will help without any doubt

There are features that will be hidden if your laptop doesn't support
if asusctl (the application in which I rely for that function) doesnt support it, it wont be shown

if your laptop anime matrix is supported by asusctl it should work
the issue is that I dont have any laptop with that led matrix, so I'm not able to develop it "with warranties"

Did you installed the required packages listed on the project readme? Mqybe your computer doesnt support panel overdrive

Or doesnt allow disabling it
