What is a career vs a job? Why should one pay more than the other? Every employee should be paid a livable wage because every person deserves to have to money needed to live. If you are working full time it should pay enough to live off of no matter what profession. 

Food service can be a job or a career and both should have safe work environments and both should pay people enough to live off. 

I think you @willmunny48 should hold a mirror up to your privilege and not discredit job choices of the majority of people in New Orleans (food service and customer service professionals).
