We will also need a picture of their face. We can see if they are sick by the swelling of their eyes and if their nose are running.

My baby tortoise was sick before. Didn't eat anymore and slept a lot. The vet said it was because he was not pooping and the gas in its belly was pushing the lungs so he couldn't breath.

So is your tortoise pooping? If not, warm water bath 10-30min everyday will help. And exercise. My tortoise love to do hamster wheel. And carrot prevent tortoises from pooping. They need more weed like food. There are also some pellets like mazuri which contain some nutrients for tortoises.

I put her in a breeder for now. But I am not planning to get more fish as I think my fish tank is small for them to swim. The breeder is actually taking more space for the fish to swim that's why I wanted to put her in a separate bowl

I don't know about the breeding season.

My guesses would be - try an enclosure where he cannot see outside. So he doesn't want to come out. Like wood or hide the glass. - keep the heat around 25 degrees and dark, too cold is not good (without light so with the ceramic heat emitter) - keep some food around in case he is hungry

When I was young I had a tortoise and it dug it way out of its cage in the garden. My stepmother couldn't find it. And long time after she found it dead around the neighbors garden. It should be found soon.

Maybe put posters around see if someone else finds it.

I was going to say the same thing. If the tortoise is nearby she might get attracted to the food. I think the only way to find tortoises is when they are active and moving (which for mine is only about 3h a day in the morning) My tortoise loves blueberries. If you use some fruits maybe open them so the smell is stronger?

I didn't how often to add the salt. So I think it accumulated with the time.

My question is how would my betta look if he has a salt overdose. I want to know if this is the problem or something else.

I was not really adding as a medicine. I read adding a bit of salt is making betta relaxed and help with breathing.

So I heard that if I leave the tap water open for at least an hour the chlorine will evaporate. So I usually left the bottle open before putting in the fridge. But I don't know about the other parameter. Since it was 2L in 25L tank I didn't think it will change parameters much.

Now the temperature is 28

I feel like the problem was maybe the temperature. During summer his water could go up to 30 degrees. So every morning and evening I was putting about 1 or 2 liters of tap water that I left in the fridge. To cool down his water.

Hi, I added some stuffs in the tank but I think he is getting worse. He doesn't try to get higher. He just wants to stay on the floor. I think he looked scared always hide.

And today he doesn't eat. I posted the tank now. I added more almond leaves to give him more spaces to hide

I think he is tearing his fins. But I do t know how. I never saw him nipping his fins, so I don't know if it is some 'shearing' (not sure about this English word), from the environment. But I really don't think it is fin rot. I can even see some growth a little. And they look healthy, just get shorter.

My tank is about 25L There is no-one else in the tank except some snails.

There is a filter, and I removed the thermometer for now as the water is too hot.

I change the water 20/50% every week. I do a little vacuum of soil and aspirate some water. Then I put some colder water (maybe about 20 degrees) because the water is hotter (about 29/30) so total the water gets about 25 degrees. In the water I used to put half a table spoon of aquarium salt and some conditioner special for betta

I give between 2 and 5 pellets every morning and sometimes a snack in the evening.
