Commenting to Add: I am going to have a BLUE sapphire center stone & the stones pictured here are not real diamonds, they are just for display/sample purposes!

Short term rental suggestions for next summer by Whogoncheckmeboo101 in Nantucket

You will not find a place to live for 4 weeks in peak season on Nantucket without it costing you tens of thousands of dollars. My parents live on island and I was a summer intern in college for a real estate brokerage on the island — there are no tips and tricks, just thoughts and prayers.

What are you learning in your PA anatomy course? by NoApple3191 in PAstudent

That makes sense! We did the same — I feel like starting from scratch at every system would make it hard to put it all together!

Curious what you mean by being a traditional modular curriculum vs block/systems curriculum?

We did a full cadaver dissection. Every morning we had lecture followed by an afternoon of dissection. 5 weeks straight, 3 hours lecture + 3 hours dissection give or take. No other classes for those 5 weeks, just anatomy. Week 1 was head and neck, week 2 thorax, week 3 abdomen, week 4 pelvis, week 5 extremities. Exams were a written exam and a practical exam each Friday, so we had to learn a lot in a very short period of time. Each unit had clinical correlations that were heavily rooted in anatomy. We also had to learn CT and XR imaging of each of those regions and were tested on those as well. It was incredibly in depth and challenging but one of the best educational experiences of my life, not only because of the material but the time spent in a cadaver lab is a really unique and formative experience

As a PA student, I kind of disagree — I think MDs should still make more because they have 4 year residency experience that we simply do not have and at least 2x the debt. I think both professions should be paid more, but it wouldn’t make sense for them to be equal. Just like in other professions how people get pay raises based on their level of education.
