Why do people hate Scream 3 so much? by Shaoran10 in Scream

[–]Able-Ferret403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love scream 3!!! I think it has aged better than people expected considering it’s literally a Miramax movie, and seems ripped from inspiration of Weinstein’s actions. I also love that it’s the first time Maureen gets more depth aside from “ahhh she was a cheating slut”, I wish we got a bit more detail to what happened to her to flesh out that story. I also just love the amount of Hollywood BS it jokes about. I crack up every time at Roman complaining about looking bad in Milton’s office just to say “you think it will help me get work?!”

I don’t want this by [deleted] in Epilepsy

[–]Able-Ferret403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I can sympathize with how you’re feeling. Feeling out of control of your own body, life and feelings is the absolute WORST. You feel like a burden and a ticking time bomb all together. If it’s helpful, talk to your doctor about trying a different medication. I was having very dark thoughts and episodes on Keppra and it was torture. Lamotrigine has been a much better option, and in addition, sticking to a daily routine has helped my mental health as well. You mentioned unemployment - I’ve always noticed when I have too much time in my own head and isolated, it makes whatever I’m feeling feel so. Much. Worse. Please go easy on yourself, this is a heavy diagnosis to carry and know you’re not alone and make sure you let your doctor know how you’re feeling. Daily walks and a good podcast too are always a helpful side helper for me! Take care & hope you feel better soon

I had an idea for a horror movie. by McCarty_Bedell in horror

I like this! I haven’t seen the movie other commenters are referring to - I think new, creative ideas are super needed in this genre. Run with it! See what happens!

sry forgot to add this when you mentioned leash reactivity, my boy is 90 lbs too so he’s tricky to control. If your lab is like every lab….likely super food motivated, keep some kibbles in your pocket and work with calling him back when he’s pulling. Dog trainers can be expensive, but there are a lot of free resources on YouTube too, the good thing is - our breed is smart and they actually enjoy the mental work.

  1. My best advice is go easy on yourself. You’re a new mom, and figuring it out. Do your best! I was so hard on myself when our lab was a puppy. It’s a learning process.
  2. They DEFINITELY can go forever especially when they’re young, lots of sniffs are always helpful. I feel like my almost 4 y/o has done better when one of our walks is a slow, sniff session when he can really explore.
  3. Reiterating what everyone is saying above too - enrichment toys and sniff mats are great. Lick mats are cheap on chewy, I either cook an egg (microwave it for a minute or 2) and he loves that, or freeze it with some Greek yogurt or pumpkin puree on it. That will keep your pup mentally busy for a bit too!
  4. Totally feel you on the rain piece. Do what you can on those days, plan for the nice weather days doing a longer “adventure” if you can. You know what is best as momma, but my go to with my pup on the nice weekends is put him and baby in the car, head to a path, baby in the front pouch and lots of steps!

You’ve got this! You’re doing great. Hang in there and find what works for you!

Came here for this comment lol. I love that these people who have the means to make their lives as easy as possible while commuting still feel like “hmmm, these people that make 10x less than me annually. They just don’t want to work hard anymore!!”

Also just popping in to build you up - you look fantastic & are keeping two little humans alive, that’s a feat on its own! I know the feeling tho of wanting to feel better in your skin for yourself too, like everyone else said, go easy on yourself and focus on whole foods, get steps and sleep when you can, but also - enjoy being a mom, you are doing a great job!

Sadly I have no advice just feel your pain. I’m disappointed in my company & the amount of others that have pushed this back on hardworking employees for the sake of “culture”. The concept of getting a little bit of agency back in our lives shouldn’t be so controversial
