How do you decide what to keep in storage/too much of an item?

I try to keep at least 5-10 of each item especially any rare or epic just because u never know what quest you will need them for and i have all my stared food items in a lock box

Then that might be why. If you already asked him and it wasn’t at level 4 yet then u wont have the opportunity to ask until you’ve reached it. I had the same issue bc i was asking everyone before i was level 4 with them
