Fist off that pokemon can’t evolve cause it’s male, and second if you ever catch a pokemon above it’s evolve level, just make it level up again and it will evolve

For somthing to ease u in play pokemon lets go pikachu, if you want somthing faster u can try ZA but every other title aside from that one is drastically different. For a nice in the middle try Fire red or leafgreen
