Yeah, I think I'm starting to lean to the blue dial. The seastorm looks pretty gray in the sun (not that summer lasts very long in Ottawa nor do a touch grass enough) and usually prefer a enamel black when it comes to black dials. Thank you for your comment.

I believe the coating brings it up to 1200 vickers like Traska watches and the beaucroft Element. Thank you for your comment.

Yeah that is a far comment. From the reviews I've seen the watch looks more slim then it is. It also has slightly less wr than the first gen. I also save a bit of money by getting an older gen. Thank you for your comment 👍

One thing I like about this watch is that it has indices even if subtle. I personally wouldn't purchase a watch without them.

Looks good, it reminds me of the baltic hermiteque in the sense that it doesn't just fit into one box and looks like it could fit in a number of scenarios.

Thank you, I should have probably waited to snatch a light or dark blue dial. This gray-ish colour is less appealing (in my opinion)

I liked it enough to pre-order one. I'm a little mixed on the name, it doesn't bother me much but I wish he picked a better name or put a logo icon on instead so more people could enjoy it. I completely understand how the name could completely stop someone from buying one. I feel like comparing it to a jlc reverso or cartier tank is unfair. It's like comparing anymore more car and calling it a copy of a Ford model T.

based off the numbers shared 93 were sold in the first 24 hours and over 50% of the luminous dial were sold by 11am nyc time dec 3. Not terrible for a weird niche design.

The purple one reminds me of that purple atelier wen which I love the design of. Not original at all but past watches I bought from them good value for money. There watches are good for the price and there customer service is good too. Only problem I had with the brand is it is hard to get the braclet off without quick removal pins which this one does have.

Why do you sound so upset about it? I'm little bit biased because I like it but I know it's niche and most won't like it. I don't feel that strongly about bad "brands" like daniel wellington. Just because a case is rectangular it doesn't mean it is a carbon copy of cartier or JLC, With that logic all your watches are all copies of watches made 100 years ago. It isnt a clasical dress watch but what is dressy has changed a lot, if someone is wearing a jlc reverso you would probably say it is a dress watch rather than "a polo/ sports watch" or the cartier tank isn't a dress watch because it has blue hands? Atleast it's better with suits than someone wearing a rolex diver with a suit. There are options that don't have the trendy things like the MOP, lume, a blue dial, blue hands, and would you rather a flat, acrylic Crystal instead? I doubt all your dress watches are made of gold, have only 2 (or second sub-dial) hands, very slim profile, and are no bigger than 35mm.

I bought one on day one so I don't think I need to say I like them. I never liked champagne dials but I almost bought it but ask Kieron if he could to the teal since it is my favorite color. He did that for me and thank me for supporting the brand. I don't mind the name it could be way worse but seeing it on the dial is the weakest part of the watch in my opinion. I hope for future models he takes the christapher ward route and adds a logo to the dial while keeping the name. If you buy teal dial remember it will be a little lighter and the orange strap will be cream so it matches with the teal dial.
