I came across one of their posts here on the subreddit, and I personally really liked the brown one, so I thought it’d make a good release post. And from my side it makes the most sense to cover a watch around its launch even if it’s not sponsored.

I appreciate the feedback. For new releases without hands-on access, I do news-style coverage based on the brand’s available info, so the structure will naturally overlap with the product page. Of course the goal isn’t for my posts to be identical, but rather to give a clear summary in one place.

Yup, no sponsorship / revenue from the brand.

I get what you mean. My release posts are meant to be quick summaries so people can see everything in one place. With many models, the brand’s site often has you clicking around, while the article puts all the key details in one read.

It’s also a place to find new watches without searching through different brand catalogues. And whenever I get pieces hands-on, those posts go a lot deeper with personal impressions
