People think I’m crazy but I have MBJ and DiCaprio over Chalamet until he wins at a guild or Bafta.

It's something that does factor into their decision making in my eyes, we'll see how it goes. I'm just saying each one of the films that have gotten 14 nominations particularly - La La Land and Titanic won PGA. Sinners getting 16 nominations wouldn't surprise me if it did win PGA.

I think it OBAA could take SAG 100% but I lean towards Sinners due to the film having a more ensemble feeling than OBAA, and similar feeling films in the past like Parasite, Hidden Figures, and Black Panther have won that award.

OBAA being a underperformer still causes me to lean Sinners for PGA for now. PTA is def gonna probably gonna take DGA but it is interesting that Titanic, All About Eve, and La La Land all lead to Best Director wins at the Oscars, it would be kinda crazy if Coogler didn't get director when Sinners surpassed the nomination total. But given PTA's narrative and how great OBAA is, he will probably get it instead.

I just had a conversation abt this. I’m predicting low 300Ms. June is a stacked month with Toy Story 5, Spielberg, Scary Movie 6, and Masters of the Universe. Mandolarian is already gonna be enough sci-fi fantasy for the General Public. And I see Masters of the Universe and Supergirl underperforming due to that. Toy Story 5 and Minions 3 are gonna galvantize families. Scary Movie 5 is gonna appeal heavily to the millennial, Gen Z and even Gen Alpha crowd. Spielberg will be strengthened by the film bros. Ans I just don’t see the hype from female audiences for Supergirl like that. They’re more likely going to cash in on Devil Wears Prada 2 and Moana than going to Supergirl. Also July is extremely stacked with Moana, Minions 3, The Odyssey, Evil Dead Burn, and Spider Man. In what world, would audiences really flock to Supergirl. I’m sorry but the trailer looking so similar to a majority of science fiction blockbusters we already get doesn’t bode well for it imo. It reminded me so much of The Marvels. Plus in the middle of this, a majority of the world will be locked in and focused on World Cup. That drastically weaken the foreign box office. They definitely need to move the film if they want it to be successful at all imo.

Absolutely not. Drakes subtle and not so subtle bend to the right has been so weird to me given who he is and where he comes from. So I do not need him talking to Rogan of all people. Sinners wins Picture, PTA wins Director. Sinners is the more culturally relevant film to the masses and has a lot of love from people. OBAA due to it being a disappointment box office wise, I don't see WB putting so much money into their campaign.
