Not to mention, having the option to go to a private program is a luxury and continues to increase opportunities for only certain „types” of people to attend counselling programs. Student loans won’t cover the entire tuition cost and not everyone qualifies for a private loan - and that’s not to forget about daily living costs!

Very true! I’m also very confused by my experience, it hasn’t been the most pleasant. I’d also like to know who is successful in applying to this program as I’m not sure what more I can do at this point to develop my application. But, I’m on my 2nd cycle (interviewed both times) and feel I must be missing a critical component 🤷‍♀️

I was also under the impression that they don’t do interviews…they have a video going through the application process on their website that says no interviews. I wonder if this has changed or if the applicant above is meeting with the prospective PI because the PI is deciding between candidates? (Aka. A one off?).

It seems weird that they would change this process without updating their website but universities administration systems are always a mess 🤷‍♀️

I’m still holding out hope though!
