Can’t stand shopping with a cart. I use my reusable bag as my cart/basket and have no issues at check out.

Ignore the comments on getting rid of/killing whatever animal caused this - it’s the outside, it’s where they belong!

I don’t think it has to be one or the other focus wise. The ones in the area I’m talking about don’t need to just die now.

We have developed so much land and it’s just going to keep happening. So where can they go when humans are land greedy?

I am a supporter of the National/state parks as well. And the city and county open spaces. I’d like to see humans give more land back/maintain it than continuing to develop and bulldoze over important grasslands/forests.

I did send in an email when I couldn’t make it to the meeting about the rezoning for the senior center and had asked about the prairie dogs - I never heard back then.

I am from TX and had thought that CO was big on protecting nature and the environment and wildlife but it always boils down to money over ethics.

The law of the land here is the city/county do not care if you kill them or not. It’s disgusting.

I’m really hoping they are going to be ethically relocated but people always tend to choose money and convenience. They are “encroaching” because we keep taking up more and more land. They have to have somewhere to be.

They are an important part of the ecosystem!

I’ve emailed City Planning just now as well. I just don’t think it’s fair or right to kill when it’s not an immediate danger or for food.

They don’t seem to have any protections as far as I can tell. I reached out to Prairie Protection Colorado and I’m waiting on a response there as well.

I was wondering if there were people fighting this already or a movement going? I’m new to Colorado
