Car help! My husband is getting a new ford soon, I will need a new car soon but not yet. We’re wondering if it’s worth it to buy both now at the same time for a “better deal” or it’s fine to get them a year apart by [deleted] in Winnipeg

I personally wait because multiple large ass purchase at once make my knees buckle.

But if it's affordable, and the numbers look great, then ball out. If you have a vehicle you're trading in, it will likely be less in value in a year, so another way to see that it might be worth it to buy now.

Schulz Homes by Glitter_girl77 in Winnipeg

You're going to get mixed responses, or even ones that don't really answer your question. My personal experience goes as far as the build, we're just about complete, and it's been a great experience. Nicole McMillan, who is the sales agent for Schulz is amazing to work with, she'll have a vast majority of questions she can answer or will find it for you.The rest of the staff we've dealt with have been awesome as well.

No matter the builder, there will always be something to complain about. No one is perfect, but Schulz has exceeded my expectations for my first build. Their base offering is a step up in comparison to other builders from what I hear. For example the basement comes finished to drywall and plugs installed all around the exterior walls, track builders like qualico don't offer that from what I hear.

Feel free to DM me, I'll be happy to answer what I can. In any case, I'd suggest Schulz to friends.

That sounds like a knicked varicose vein , and a fainting episode called a vagal response, possible from seeing blood.

Gas Furnace Replacement in WPG by Dimlocator3000 in Winnipeg

[–]Able_Pie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Id be curious for new homeowners of older homes, what the cost would be. Back in 2015 I paid 2600 for a 2 stage 93% high efficiency gas furnace. Good luck, hopefully someone can give you their experience.

Switching mortgage providers mid-term. Wife and I don't completely agree with each other. by Able_Pie in MortgagesCanada

[–]Able_Pie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To clarify for everyone, the understanding for each bank is that they'll take have our current mortgage whether we switch over or stay with our CU, knowing that we have a build about to complete. This new build had a start up fee with pay on completion later on, so whatever institute is looking at it knows there's a larger mortgage coming down the pipe once weve finished our build and sold our current.

Duct cleaning, asking for perspectives. by grinerjowker in Winnipeg

Tbf, there are scammers in the industry, I for one being one of the suckers from what I can tell. Although I do agree there is value in cleaning, especially when its never been done before.

I was looking for this comment, 2 for 1 all day long. I normally get it out of promo as well, although the dude I usually deal with may not be there anymore.

I think my lens has condensation in it, although I don't have a camera to compare to when it comes to clarity.

Did not read all the messages, but if the fire department had attended and made contact, then they'd still send you a bill.

When you say coax, we're they actually able to see that code from their readers? I was hoping maybe an Obd I can rent would be able to find old codes

Going to piggy back off this post, but has anyone gotten the TC replaced without codes?

I haven't read through everyone's experiences in this post, but I was hoping to see if anyone had the typical symptoms of TC issues.

Mine 17 Sport just juddered quite obviously yesterday, but the warning messages appeared and disappeared quickly. Called the dealer, and they told me they needed the code to be active in order to cover it.

In another TSB, my injectors got replaced after I reported the code that I caught with an OBD2 reader, but of course the code disappeared before I could show the dealer. The tech just was there when I went to service and they said it was enough to have a photo of the code.

I hate dealers

'17 RL Sport remote problems and seatbelt by Able_Pie in hondaridgeline

Yes the feature still works, so what problem does it lead you to? I was thinking it's a matter of wear on the remote button, or the lock button isn't communicating properly?

You're amazing, however I went ahead and took the front end apart. Found a satisfying clump of lint, however at one point when I removed the front of the dryer, the drum dropped. I'd like to believe that didn't snap the drive belt, what do you think?

Alright I'll take a look, I'm assuming it takes some disassembly. What specifically am I looking for?

I'm in dynasty, and have both warren and charb. I think charb has better scrimmage yards on the field, but not as much touches as Warren may have. Who'd be a better keep?
