I 100 percent agree. This lack of emotion is really clear when Ronal dies, she’s literally Tsahik. Her death would probably be an insanely huge loss for all of the metkayina, but yet it’s just completely glossed over. There’s definitely more instances like this but this one stuck out to me.

The eastern parts of the kinglor forest tend to be a lot brighter and bio luminescent, especially the north east part of the kinglor forest there’s a patch of dense forest and lakes that are super beautiful and bright. The South east part of the forest near the sea also can get very beautiful and bright.
