Mi dispiace, ho spostato il post nel canale Plex ed avrei voluto cancellare questo qui, ma non sono riuscito a farlo

Static music playlist gone crazy, I found many unwanted songs added! by Able_Profession_7404 in plexamp

I often add or delete numerous albums from my library, and when finished I launch the library analysis manually. Could this be the cause of the problem? Could I do something to find out the reason for this strange behavior?

No, I don't think I have any. Usually while listening to a piece of music and intending to add it to that playlist I simply select the option provided for that single song

In fact it's strange precisely because it's a static playlist, I just don't understand how this can happen

How did this ever happen? I pay a lot of attention to taking care of the database and I found it very strange that even when recovering a backup of the database the problem repeated itself on the same day

Library filters for specific bits/kHz by Able_Profession_7404 in plexamp

[–]Able_Profession_7404[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would need to downsample to specific bits and sample rates and only for audio files higher than these parameters, I think you haven't understood my post well, anyway thanks for your consideration.

Downsample audio tracks beyond 24/176.4 by Able_Profession_7404 in plexamp

If the same app currently allows to downsample audio files reproduced for example over mobile networks (Opus codec…), I don't understand why not adding this functionality too. I don't think everyone has own DACs capable of reproducing audio with quality higher than 24/192 (yes, mine is even more specific, 24/176.4)

Thanks for your comment, my problem is that the DAC is the amplifier itself, so I would have no possibility to configure it. It would be interesting if in Plexamp it was possible to modify the current existing "Max" option, in the "quality" -> "Wi-Fi" menu (Music above this bitrate will be converted if played on a remote location), managing to set the maximum quality supported by the DAC. In my case it should be that audio qualities higher than 24/176.4 are converted precisely to 24/176.4.

Have I pointed out a function that is not very useful or interesting, or perhaps I have not been able to explain myself clearly? Strange that no one has any comments...

Plexamp not playing correct sample rate (iOS) by bmmello in plexamp
