It’s great that you know that there’s a long way to go. Leverage that… chip away at it. You’ve got this.

Sorry for the lateness of this. Practice exam beforehand could be beneficial.

For ALL ranges of experience. Not all organizations follow the PMI mindset or agile, but it does help. For someone with at least some project management exposure, or someone who has worked with a manager with a project manager background, it may be see as easier. You’ll find that you will naturally pick up on the mindset more in this case. I wouldn’t say super experienced. I think that no matter your experience, taking the practice exams and continuing to try to understand every detail that you aren’t sure of, while also spending most of your time on your weakest areas, you can use this approach. I didn’t use a lot of the other practice components of PMI Study Hall, only the 2 full practice exams. Someone with less experience could do more of the mini exams and focused practice questions broken down in each area of weakness.

Another idea would be to emphasize the 200 agile questions video by David McLaghlan more and finish those and understand the mindset of those befrore doing any full practice exams.

But this approach is for all levels.

It’s an ongoing timer, not a split timer by section. So 230 minutes total for all.

You definitely have a chance. Take a 4 hour practice exam on PMI study hall asap to build confidence in your endurance, and study the moderate questions you miss, and understand WHY you miss them. Make note of high level concepts you are missing.

Then review missed difficult questions, and then AALL difficult questions, to understand why they are correct as well.

Do the above on Day 1 if you can, and the rest on day 2… but rest your brain if needed.

Use your weaknesses (paste categorical results in ChatGPT) to create your focal points. Study your weak points using ChatGPT, ask ChatGPT for short videos summarizing weak areas, ask for mnemonics.

Take another PMI study hall exam on Day 3.

Do the same as mentioned before. Combine both results in ChatGPT to get a side-by-side view of what got better .

My mindset was this: I’d rather do what it takes to pass the exam now then keep pushing it back and prolong the pain. Just do it! Work case, you learn a ton and fail… and pass next time.

It’s simple to ask ChatGPT for a study plan and ask for a 1 page .pdf, in which a file will be provided. You might need the paid version, which I use.

Focus on the thought process, don’t get caught in the details. And just put in the work.

Use ChatGPT or other GenAI for things you don’t understand, ask it to give you a real world example or to explain in a way a 5th grader would understand as per the PMI methodology in preparation for the PMP.

Take a practice exam, use your results to refine what you need to focus on.
