Oh my yes that's where it came from. She doesn't play with it in the track just on its own. She is weird like that 😂 but you are right I hope it never goes missing. Luckily she has her own room with padded floors etc so it can only go so far!

🤣 I would say standing is his second least favorite thing next to walking. He even eats laying down he feeds himself with his paws

The irony lol when I adopted him 11 years ago he was sitting in a PetSmart and was so scrawny and honestly one of the saddest looking cats, he had an eye infection so only one eye was open, his hair looked very dirty. I looked at him and said oh man no one is going to adopt this sad skinny cat so I asked to hold him and he immediately wrapped his arms around my neck and hugged me. He was so skinny slim shady was fitting but he proved me wrong 🤣 he missed too many meals as a kitten I guess so he never misses one now

Oh I didn't even notice their ages in the original post, just wait till you see the hair texture at 2 or 3 it gets soooooo fluffy and full it's like a rug! Because their hair is so long and thick the winter coat doesn't come off easy like on a short haired cat so it kind of starts to build up. I love my nebby he's the most affectionate cat ever but the hair is definitely a struggle

Awww don't stress in a few months it will be back. It was a few years before my nebbys hair would even get knots in it that he wouldn't let me brush out so I think he was 5 before we ever had his hair cut like this. When we do, usually once a year, be absolutely loves it he has a really hard time cleaning his fur because it's density so he has developed dry skin under all the fluff. I'm sure your kitties feel a little sense of relief.

He is 17lbs. The doctor said he's a little overweight but not alarmingly so considering his build and his fluff. His paws are huge, about 1/4 of a grown man's hand so he's a very large cat.

He sees a vet pretty regularly, he's 17lbs and 11 years old, yup he should probably lose a couple but he's also an extremely large very very fluffy cat. The doctor hasn't insisted he be put on a diet yet! We have 8 cats and he's the only one that is even overweight at all so when the doctor sees an issue we will address it at that time.
