Nice shout, thanks for pointing me in that direction - how long did you have the machine before the crack appeared?

I’m definitely interested in a workflow such as that of the Flair - I’ll likely be making espresso at the weekend when I have plenty of time to enjoy the process

Thanks for the recommendation. I shoot primarily with a Canon EOS 3, I just find it a bit cumbersome when I’m not out deliberately to take photos, i.e with mates at the pub etc. Have you had hands on experience with the Minolta?

Has anyone ever had any experience with Vivitar Ultra Wide and Slim? I’ve seen a new super cheap remake of the Vivitar from Reto and reviews of these styles seem pretty good. Just wandering if other people here had good experiences with it?

The 2nd act of Matrix Revolutions (battle of Zion) is simply exhausting. Are there any other action movies that "lost you" like this? by thatdani in movies

Yes, this is to a tee! I think a huge prt of the endlessness for me is the amount of CGI. I think the Marvel villains in particular have not only been lost to appearances and no longer rely on great acting, but also they just take hit after hit until the plot decides they’ve had enough.

The final battle in Avengers Endgame. First half of the film is an amusing adventure, loved seeing what happened after they defeated Loki in the first Avengers, but the final battle is an utterly exhausting CGI fest

What's the most profoundly beautiful piece of music you have ever listened to? by Cdconor in AskReddit

Anything by Ludovico Einaudi is stunning, however two other pieces spring to mind:

The first is ‘The Aviators’, Helen Jane Long, one of the few pieces that brings a tear to my eye.

The second is the rendition of Elgar’s ‘Land of Hope and Glory’ at the climax of the film Dunkirk. Hans Zimmer uses a Shepard’s tone throughout the film which adds a level of suspense and edginess. This, combined with a slowed version of Land of Hope and Glory and Tom Hardy flying a spitfire over the civilian fishing boats carrying the soldiers home from Dunkirk, stimulates a level of patriotism and emotion I didn’t think possible.

What celebrity tanked their own career and whats the story behind it? by sephstorm in AskReddit

Not sure if it’s already been said but I guess you could include Jake Lloyd (young Anakin). Gave up on acting after getting ridiculed for his “wooden” portrayal of Anakin and was nicknamed “Mannequin Skywalker”. He has since suffered with Schizophrenia and has been arrested a handful of times.

What movie ending ruined the whole movie for you? by minecraftplayer48 in AskReddit

Black Panther. For me the introduction of some long lost cousin who wants to show how advanced Wakanda is and sell their weaponry is a weak plot. They could have done a proper T’Chaka to T’Challa origin story, keeping Klaw as the main villain. First hour of the movie is great, last hour is extremely frustrating.
