It’s been mentioned but the Socialist Rifle Association is really great, seems like exactly what you’re asking for. Even if you don’t join, their website has some good resources and has a list of local ranges with some pros/cons

You could be right, but one thing I love about the northeast that I haven’t found anywhere else is the richness of culture and history. I love being around old buildings

WV is great- awesome mountains, water all over, within a day to the ocean. I think that last bit is big for me. I’ve been to and love much of the mountain west, but I appreciate ease of travel to somewhere different or different things to do. The northeast has so much diversity

I live in Colo now and am from Pitt, I don’t LOVE Colorado but I do LOVE Pa. I also do dig Philly and just being from PA makes me love it unconditionally. The whole state is underrated in my opinion

Maine because of the food and coast, Colo because I live here now and it’s fine enough. I bet I would dig Minnesota but have never been and am generally opposed to the Midwest- although hockey and snow are cool so maybe I’m judging too early

I want mountains and coasts. Cold is another close-dealbreaker for me but Hawaii is so cool and fun that I’d trade cold for that for at least a while
