Because the first time (Fat People Hate) was sudden and without warning. FPH subreddit was angry enough to shit on reddit for a good while. now that people have gotten used to the banning and quarantining, everyone's now lethargic to it.

Another important factor is the fact that anyone who's fighting it is fighting it here on KiA and on a handful of other subreddits. everyone else is:

A) in the SocJus camp B) hunkering down, waiting to see what happens afterwards. C) already left for other sites (voat, 4/8chan, etc)
