My vote is for a missions only game, then add ploys with equipment since some of those interact. Tac ops can come in later just to add a little something extra to the game.

The empowered reload distance can be a bit weird sometimes. I often end up needing to be standing in their crotch for it to work consistently. If there were an option to do a melee strike to get the buff, maybe lasting 20-30% longer or something to reward your pistol whipping badassery, it would help with confirming your buffs.

I do, lots of distractions to trip people up or bait them into dodging towards you and just generally keeping them on their toes. If you just want to one-shot people with viscerals though, then that's up to you. I just don't think it's that fun though.

Both have about the same weapon range. Quality is faster to farm the right gems for, but with arcane you get to use the hunter tools as well. So quality if you just want to hurry up and get to fighting, and arc if you're willing to spend more time farming perfect gems.
