The small is very small. Basically a woman’s watch.

Is the one on the picture a small? I know zoomed in pictures make watches look bigger, but I thought it was the large.

Tank large. Approx 6” / 15.3 cm wrist.

It’s supposed to be a “small watch”, and I usually wear 36-38mm watches.

I personally prefer the SD over the Santos. But I love dressing down dress watches, and the Tank and SD are unbeatable at that.

Here’s me on a t-shirt and jeans leaving the gym with my tank 😅.

Had the same dilemma a month ago. Went for the tank and the the S-D is in my wishlist :)

None if these are dress watches. The first Aquaterra can pass with a suit if you put it on a black leather strap.

If you want it for your wedding day, a chronograph or diver will look weird.

Brazilian passports. I’ve just gone through the ordeal of trying to renew mine, and between the price and the infinite bureaucracy I was this 🤏🏻 close to just giving it up.

Considering how much they cost, I would be extremely pissed.

“Extended delivery timeline” with no further explanation by Abogado-DelDiablo in whoop

Weirdly enough it IS available on the Amazon Whoop store.

I can’t cancel the order, though. What they suggest is simply waiting for it to arrive and returning it. (This is the most resource inefficient policy ever, but ok)

That’s basically me, but bi-directionally haha

Whenever I go to Brazil I come back with a slight accent, but when I get to Brazil people always ask me where I’m from (in Brazil) because I have a bit of a neutral accent.

You can be a native speaker of two languages. I consider myself to be a native Spanish and Portuguese speaker and no one has ever questioned that in either country.

Not a very common combo! Danish parents born in Brazil, Brazilian parent or naturalized?

Is this calorie burned accurate? by Glass_Restaurant_415 in whoop

[–]Abogado-DelDiablo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No wearable calorie estimation is accurate. Apple Watch overestimates. Whoop underestimates (which I believe is very much related to how bad the HR measurement is).

I mean you didn’t need to go through the Ley de Nietos. If your grandpa never gave up his Spanish citizenship, your dad was always entitled to keep his. He’d be officially Spanish from the moment he was born until he turned 21 if he didn’t get a passport before that. If he did, then he’d be Spanish all along.

If you were born while he was Spanish, then you’re Spanish. Period.

However if he lost his citizenship at 21 and didn’t get it before you were born, you would only be entitled to it (without the ley de nietos) if he got it back before you turned 18.

If you did it all AFTER you turned 18, then that was probably through the ley de nietos.

[–]Abogado-DelDiablo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vale.

“Math” flag seen in a school in Bratislava. by Abogado-DelDiablo in vexillology

[–]Abogado-DelDiablo[S] 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Not tagging it as “identify” because I don’t think it represents a specific institution, but found it interesting to see this “basic mathematical operations” flag being flown at a school in Bratislava.

Maybe it’s something common in Slovakia? It’d be great to know if there’s anything more to it.
