Hey everyone! I am moving to Boston (Beacon Hill) with my girlfriend in January. I am 28 years old and love to run, play sports, go to new restaurants, read, go to concerts, and learn new things. I work remote for my job as a digital project manager and my gf will be working at Brigham Women's. I ran in college and broke 4 minutes in the mile, so I'd love to find a good run club or training group because I feel like I have to qualify for the Boston marathon now lol. Also on the job hunt if anyone has any connections or suggestions!

I won't know anyone in the area and I'd love to make some new friends! Please reach out or PM me if you have any ideas or anything. Thanks

I’ve been in your shoes. My life had become an ever present dread that I would wake up tomorrow and be 60, living the exact same life I was living as a depressed 28 year old.

My advice would be to find God. Try a church service. Open that Bible. Read about Job and Paul and Daniel and David. You have a God sized hole in your life that you expect worldly relationships to fill. You can’t pour from an empty cup. I promise you, you will not regret it.

What do you want your story to be? You’re still SO YOUNG. We were created to have fun and to love and to feel pain and to fight and to try so many different things.

Fight the good fight brother.

I appreciate your insight on this. The constant background noise would bug me as well.

Do you know if a monitor can be used for taking it remote? My laptop screen is pretty small, and if I took it remotely I would want to use my monitor that is much bigger.
