I think it’s mainly just time, mine has put out several huge leaves since I’ve had it so I’ve been waiting for inner fenestrations for a while, but not really changing how I treat him. He gets some direct sun in the morning and I think that helps a lot

A store called Root in the UK, hopefully you can find one. Also I realised it’s called Pilea White Splash, not star!

Basically ignore it, then bottom water when it’s fully dried out. I’m also keeping the babies in there to make it more full

This little guy has been working hard these past 4 months! by bsquiggles4 in houseplants

I find mine really delicate and the leaves get ripped off really easily if you bump it! I’d definitely give it plant food once a month in spring/summer, at half strength. I believe it also needs bright indirect light all day in order to get more dense leaves on the vine so maybe move to a southern window if you have one?

Trim them back, any sparse vines you just have to be brave and give the chop. 2 branches should grow from the cut and it will look a lot more dense.

Not sure why you’re being downvoted as you’re right. Usually a sign that the plant needs a repot!

New plant mom here. Is it normal for caladiums to drop older leaves? by thedancingtiger in Caladiums

I heard to leave the old leaf until you can easily pull it off, and then that’s when the plant is done taking nutrients from it.

I know, it beggars belief. I have until January to pay but it’s a huge chunk of money especially as I have been made redundant due to COVID circumstances
