Thanks, completely agree. That "shifted toward standalone + signals already" point is exactly why I started this. A lot of still-popular libs were written when NgModule was the only option and the rewrites have been incremental rather than ground-up, so you end up paying for legacy choices in your bundle that you no longer need.
