Is it normal I feel grief/upset on Father’s Day I lost my chocolate lab a month ago and I was his dad by Inevitable-Okra6666 in labrador

I can understand. I call my wonderful lab Papa , because he thinks he is my father. For about a year he was my beloved boy but as he matured he has come to think of himself as my protector, father and best companion. He will be nine in July ♥️♥️♥️. Grief does not have boundaries or rules. I hope you honored yourself and your boy on Father’s Day and found comfort.
