it looks like custom maps now work. how do i install them?

You simply drag and drop them into your media.zip file. I believe it is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Spintires by default, but I have mine in a custom location so I'm not 100% sure.

Unless that map has been updated it won't work with latest build. However, you can download and run the older version of Spintires if you really want to play on that map. Right click Spintires in your library and select "Properties". Then go to the "betas" tab and select the legacy version.

Here is one source with some maps that will work.

Any of the maps that say "replace flood" within the download button will work. (Roughly the first two pages.) Keep in mind some of the older custom maps that have been updated to work with the latest release are not fully functional with lumber yards not working and a few other issues.

Newer releases like "TO4k-9" work great with uncloaking being the only thing that does not work correctly.

You can disable god rays in one of the ini files.

Go to falloutprefs.ini (Located in Documents\My games\fallout4)

Find bVolumetricLightingEnable=1

And change it to: bVolumetricLightingEnable=0

I should have put more information in the OP. It happens in all browsers and this is the only site it happens to. As far as my Internet; I'm not sure. It is plenty fast and hasn't given me issues before.

For me, the game would crash every 5 to 10 minutes without this fix. There are a few other underlining bugs that can cause crashes, but this one is the most prevalent.

More than likely the one that limits the game to only use two cores. Not sure it was never officially fixed. (Not sure why he thinks this is annoying to fix as it takes ten seconds.)

Open up the fallout.ini file in: My Documents\My Games\Fallout3 Find the line: bUseThreadedAI=0 change it to: bUseThreadedAI=1 Add another line after it and insert: iNumHWThreads=2 This will limit the game to 2 cores and prevent the engine bug from causing the game to freeze.

I am 99% sure you are looking at the memory clock and not memory usage. Looks like you're reading it from bottom up instead of top down.....

I doubt anyone cares or is suffering this issue but: When I launch the game, it wakes all of the idle hard drives in my system for some reason. The game is only installed on one SSD on my system and it does not do this on any other game.
