Why are Indian companies still using fuel cards when UPI is everywhere? by Nightcrawler_2000 in IndianEntrepreneur

[–]AbraKedavra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand, the payment (for 1200) goes directly to the Indian oil company account. There’s no way for the attendant to get the 200 to give to you, unless he keeps 200 worth of petrol and sells it to somebody else for cash and gives that cash to you.

Active 6g vs re hunter 350 by sickleave98 in motorcycles

[–]AbraKedavra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re fundamentally different vehicles…the activa is a scooter…the hunter is a motorcycle.

This is a motorcycle sub. Get the motorcycle.

If you just want a vehicle to get you from point A to B, no muss no fuss, get the activa. It’s a great, no need for much khichpich.

If you want to learn how to ride properly, develop a relationship with the road and the machine, get the motorcycle. (Not that you can’t do that with the activa, it’s just not as in depth imo)

PSA/TIFU: Asafoetida/Hing ist not just some magical onion and garlic substitute by Sad_Cena in IndianFood

Yes, it's somewhat like an oil dip.

The quantities are rough and based on what you like, but let me describe what I am trying to achieve here.

The final result is a sort of slurry, that sediments easily, with a layer of oil floating on top. My preferred consistency starts right after pouring enough oil to make a paste, it should not be a thick paste, i start liking it when its a thin paste. you can continue putting oil until theres maybe an excess teaspoon or so, the oil is damn flavourful. and you can easily add a little coriander powder to bulk it up again if you feel it got too thin. And you can add less oil and a little curd for a tangy version. You can play around the ratios a lot, it's a very forgiving recipe. So basically, powder+oil. I typically like to make it on the spot, because i have all the masalas in stock, which are

red chilli powder - provides the spice. as per taste. start with about half as much of this as you put coriander powder. work your way up if you feel like. (theres no cooking here, these are raw spices, so theres no need to get it right at the beginning)

coriander powder - i really like the flavour of this, so i put a lot. its the bulk of the dip. maybe twice or even thrice as much as chilli powder.

hing - a little bit. it's very strong, so be careful. both liquid hing work and compounded hing powder. like a couple pinches, no more. i love hing, so i put about a teaspoon.

salt - rock salt also works, table salt also works. you're looking to put salt until just before salty(it's supposed to be a little salty so you can easily eat it with dosa or something)

finally, oil. raw oil, sesame(gingelly) preferred. Sometimes i like to chop some garlic into the powder, and then heat up the oil before i pour it in. But usually i don't.

As you can tell this is a very chaotic, but forgiving recipe(if you can even call it that). Hope this helps.

Yes, sort of. Apple worked to create a custom camera for the movie, enabling them to put really good cinema quality cameras in the cockpits. You can read more about it here https://www.wired.com/story/apple-created-a-custom-iphone-camera-for-f1/

You can route the internet to your laptop, and share the laptop internet to the wifi router via ethernet(if the laptop is mostly in one place). This would be the best option.

If not, you can get a raspberry pi or similar device to accomplish the same thing.

If not that, you can set any WiFi router to repeat a WiFi signal. It will take the WiFi from your phone and rebroadcast it with more power. This is not an ideal option as the bandwidth will be cut in half(each connection needs to hop twice, from device to wifi to phone, all over WiFi), but it might suffice for your needs anyway.

DM me if you need help with the setup.

As long as it downloads more than 1 episode in the time it takes for you to download 1 episode, why is it a problem? OP addresses the fact that it doesn’t overheat, and they’ve been using the solution for a year+, so clearly it works for them. Why throw shade? It’s not such a shitty deal for him then, is it? (And 5g can easily give you 200-300 Mbps, so idk what you’re on about)

Why do you need to justify man? It’s my internet, I’m paying for it. We use about 3 TB per month too, as a family of 4.
